Baltimore Women Awarded $3.8M In Lead Paint Case
A jury has awarded more than $3.8 million to two Baltimore women who suffered permanent brain damage after being exposed to lead paint as babies. Elevated levels of lead were found in their blood in multiple tests, causing both of them to function years below their academic levels. The U.S. Centers of Disease Control says there is no safe level of lead exposure for children.
